How You Can Make Best Coconut Candy


Coconut candy is one of the most popular candies all over the Brazil; it is the favorite specialty over Brazil due to its enriched taste. There are some specific reasons for it, despite it’s easy to make and the ingredients which are used in its making are very common and achievable. These ingredients are few in numbers and are typically Brazilian, and you’ll find simplicity in preparing this recipe.

As mentioned above, this recipe does not require a large number of ingredients but only coconut, well granulated sugar, yolks of eggs, cloves and cinnamons as well as the preparation of these ingredients is quite simple. Kids love to have coconut candy as it is a big hit among them, they use to eat it with joy, but not only the kids, even adults love its enriched taste. Another advantage of making this type of candy is that it replaces other ingredients i.e. coconut used in it replaces the elements such as strawberries or other fruit pulp which enables to create revenue from the traditional coconut.

1-    Granulated  sugar required, 1 pound
2-    1 Grated coconut
3-    Carnations
4-    A cinnamon stick &
5-    1 dozen egg yolks
                                                               
Take sugar in a sauce pan and allow it some heat which should be medium-high, stir it well until it melts. On the other hand combine the egg yolks with grated coconut and mix it up with the melted sugar after removing it from the heat. Mix it until it is well blended, then add a cinnamon stick and the cloves in to eat and start cooking again. Continuously stir it while giving it a medium-high heat, stop stirring when the syrup becomes thick and remove it from the heat and let it cool down now for a while. After it cools a bit down, pour it into a well-buttered platter and put it into the refrigerator. Once cooled down, it’s ready to eat now. Have fun with your own homemade coconut candy.
